SNV Timer is a fully customizable program that combines a countdown timer, alarm, clock, reminder, monthly calendar and notepad, and includes a lot of scheduled tasks - it can show a custom message, play an audio file (including your own voice), show a picture or a video file, shut down or restart your computer, dial up a phone number, open an application, document, folder, Web page. This program has a very pleasant feature - you can set a trigger time by simple turning the minute/hour hand on the clock face.

So what does SNV Timer do for you at scheduled time?

• Shows a custom message.
  Unsatisfied of simple message boxes? No problem. Make your own custom message boxes with SNV Timer! You can set their background picture, color, font, border, size, shape, fading in/out, symbol-by-symbol printing and other properties. An additional feature of the SNV Timer messages is that their text can be picked up from external text files - it may be collections of proverbs, jokes, quotations etc.
  
  
• Plays an audio file. It's much pleasant when you be reminded by listening to your favorite songs. Want the randomly picked songs to be played at any regular intervals? No problem, SNV Timer allows you to do this. You can select MP3, WAV, MID, WMA files, including some preset sounds such as Laugh, Rooster, Dog, Doorbell, Ring and others. In addition, you can record your own voice messages with the included voice recorder.
  
  
• Shows a picture / video file in full-screen mode. You can select JPG, BMP, GIF, WMF, AVI, MPEG files. Want the randomly picked pictures or video files to be shown at any regular intervals? No problem, SNV Timer allows you to do this.
  
  
• Opens an application / file / folder / Web page (URL). Want your text editor to be launched at scheduled time? Want any multimedia files (including MP3, WAV, MID, WMA, AVI, MPEG) to be played in your default media player at any regular intervals? You can assign all the above named tasks to run simultaneously or in any combination. For example, SNV Timer can simultaneously say "Go to bed!", show a nice picture, dial up aphone number and then shut down your kid's computer.

The tasks can run at specified times (which could be daily, the different days of the week, weekly, monthly, yearly) or at regular intervals (which could be seconds, minutes, hours, days). The missed tasks can run at Windows startup.

By the way, now you can set a trigger time by turning the minute/hour hand on the clock face. It's easy, quick and even pleasant!
